We've updated our Regathering Plan!
Please check on the updated details below!
We know you want to be together, we know God wants His people together (Hebrews 10:25) and we know you want worship to be safe. The Lord grants us wisdom (James 1:5) and that is what we are seeking as we re-unite the local church over the next few months. The following is our initial plan to begin a re-gathering of God's people at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church. This plan is fluid as we keep our eyes open to God's plan and the health of our community in this time.
Timeline for Regathering
STEP 2 (tentative)
June 14 - August 2 - On-campus worship service at 11am. No childcare or other age-related activities; families will worship together in the Worship Center. Seating will be limited, so you will need to register to attend. (See Registration instructions below.) Livestream available at 11am.
Remember, if you don't feel comfortable joining us on-campus, or if all the spots fill up, you can still join us for worship on Sundays at 11am through our live stream service!
- Sundays requiring registration with one service at 11am: June 14 – August 2
Things to keep in mind when you arrive on-campus:
Everyone will seat themselves.
Rows will be color-coded and marked with instructions for seating.
Households will need to sit together. There will be room to provide distance between families.
People are welcome to wear face masks and other PPE, but are not required. (The CDC recommends that children under age 2, or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance should NOT use cloth face coverings.)
We will have Operations personnel stationed in the restrooms to clean behind everyone and to limit the number in the restroom (they will have on PPE).
The offering will be collected in containers at the exits of the worship center.
No pens or giving envelopes will be in the rows.
No handshaking, hugging, or hand-holding will take place in the service.
Please limit movement around the worship center once seated.
