Do you love to sing?
If you answered YES then choir is the place for you! We are a group of believers who love to sing and praise the Lord.
How do I join the choir?
Simply come to a Sunday Afternoon rehearsal held in the Music Suite Choir Room (233) at 5pm on Sundays and we can help you get plugged in. Choir rehearses Sunday afternoons except for some holidays, and a summer break.
How often does the Choir Sing?
We typically sing in the 9:30am and 11am services a couple times of a month. Check out the Choir Calendar for specific dates and times. We are one choir and encourage everyone to sing in both services however we understand if you only available to sing in one or the other.
Who can join?
We welcome all adults and any students 6th grade and up. 5th graders can join, if their parent is involved. Younger children can learn and perform music and arts through Splash and Saturate, our children's Wednesday night program.
Is there childcare?
Yes we offer childcare for ages 6 weeks - 5th grade but you must pre-register your child with Lori Kurz. Contact her at .
Do I have to be able to read music to join the choir?
No! We use a mix of approaches to teach the choir music which helps those who don't read to easily learn.
What do you have to wear for choir?
Can you say robes? Neither can we. Most of the time it's whatever you wear to church. We ask that you do not wear hats, jeans with holes in them, or skirts/dresses above the knee. Every-now-and-then we do a color coordinated theme for special events. We do ask that you use discretion and dress modestly. Please avoid shorts and any logo shirts or advertisements.
