FAQs

What will my child actually do at Camp 323?

Your child will spend the week with peers in their squad. They will move together through the many activities of camp all week. Each day, every squad will attend one class in each of the following areas: Play It, Create It, Rec It, Perform It, Learn It. That is a total of 25 classes by the end of the week. The beginning and end of each day are marked with ultra fun and high energy assemblies called Kick It and Live It. In the middle, squads will rotate through a time of Bible and lunch called Feed It. There is also a time mid-day called Discuss It where groups will sit with their squad and talk about what they’ve learned and do a daily devotion time from their Camp 323 book. For more details, see the sample Camp 323 schedule.

Here are a few examples of classes at Camp 323. Classes will vary each year.

What will my kindergartener actually do at Camp 323 Jr.?

The Camp 323 Jr. schedule is similar to Camp 323, with age appropriate adjustments. The squads are smaller and the classes are shorter and separate from that of the older kids. Camp Jr. also adds a 6th area called Cook It. Each of these areas will do a different activity each day instead of having 5 distinct classes within them. Instead of Discuss It, Camp Jr. has a time before the closing assembly called Wrap It to review and conclude the day’s work. They attend Kick It and Live It with Camp 323. For more details, see the sample Camp 323 Jr. schedule.

How do I receive my child’s camp supplies and information?

We will host 3 pre-check events ahead of camp. This is where you will receive your child’s squad assignment, shirt, bag, water bottle, carpool tag, and other important information. You can also register for camp at pre-check. If you are attending Camp 323 through YCEP or another summer childcare program, you will not need to attend a pre-check. These items will be sent to you through that organization.

The precheck dates for 2026 are:

May 27      5:15 – 6:15  (For children of volunteers only)

May 31      12:15 – 2:00

June 3       5:30 – 7:30

What if I’m not able to come to a pre-check?

While pre-check is a huge help for families and for our camp, we understand that it is not always possible to make it on one of these dates. You are able to pick these items up on the first day of camp. You will need to arrive early, around 8:00-8:15, in order to have time to go through this process before camp begins. A line often forms for this on the first day of camp.

Can my child bring color spirit items?

Yes! Color spirit is so fun and a big part of Camp 323. We encourage this and will have color spirit items for sale in the Camp 323 Store for this purpose. Be sure that whatever your child brings, they are able to manage all day. Some examples of appropriate spirit items include but are not limited to bead necklaces, bandanas, bracelets, socks, eye black, color hair spray, etc. Your child’s best spirit item is their camp shirt!

How does drop off work?

Parents can park and walk their kids into the auditorium to drop off. There are color flags that will mark the areas where the different colors sit. Then there is a sign to mark each specific squad. Take your child to their group’s area and sign in with the squad captain. It’s good to connect with your child’s squad captain on the first day about anything they need to know.

How does pick up work?

At pre-check, you will receive your personal carpool information. This will include your carpool tag, carpool zone number assignment, and a map to show the flow of all carpool zones. Simply go to your carpool zone and line up as directed. Be sure to display your carpool tag clearly in the windshield or on the mirror. This is your clearance to pick up your child. If you do not have the carpool tag, you will be asked to pull over and show ID as proof of identity. Be sure to let us know if there is a change in your child’s carpool plans on a particular day by stopping by the help desk in the morning. Parents are not allowed to come into the building during dismissal.

Am I allowed to be with my child during camp?

No. After you drop your child off you will need to leave campus. Campus is closed to all parents and unapproved visitors through the day. This is for the safety of our campers. If you want to be part of Camp 323, we invite you to volunteer!

Am I able to check my child out early if needed?

Yes! We know that sometimes there are times that kids need to be checked out for various reasons. If you need to check your child out early, please come to the help desk in the main lobby.

No check outs are permitted after 3:15.

My child takes medicine during the day. Can that be done at camp?

Yes! Any medications that your child needs to take or have on hand, simply check them in with the nurse on the first day of camp. Our nurse will handle the dispensing of all medications. Please do not send medicine for your child to handle on their own or for the squad captain to handle. These will be returned to you at the end of the week.

My child has food allergies. How will that be accommodated?

If your child has food allergies, please enter those in the medical information in your child’s registration. You will also want to talk to your child’s squad captain about that on the first day of camp. Additionally, the camp menu will be provided. On any day that your child is not able to have the meal, please send a lunch for your child. Be sure that the lunch is labeled with their name and squad. Leave the lunch at the help desk in the morning and we will deliver it to them.

My child has special needs. Are they able to attend Camp 323?

These decisions are made on an individual basis. If your child is able to function well at Camp 323, then they are welcome to attend. Camp is high energy, involving a lot of walking inside and out and on stairs. The opening and closing assemblies as well as some classes may have lighting effects, fog, or just be loud. If your child’s limitations allow them to be successful at Camp 323, then we welcome them! If you have questions, please contact luisa.duren@eagleslanding.org.

My child wants to be in a squad with their friends. Can this be arranged?

Yes. Your child can request up to 2 friends to be in their squad. These requests need to mutual however, so you’ll need to have those friends request you as well.

How do we shop in the Camp 323 store?

Our camp store is the place to get your Camp 323 merch and color spirit stuff! It is located in the meeting room which is on the side of the main lobby. Look for the signs as you enter. Squads do not go to the camp store during the day, so shopping will have to be done before camp begins. The camp store hours are 8:15 – 9:30am daily.

What is the missions partnership this year?

This year Camp 323 is supporting Legacies and Miracles ministries in Uganda! We are excited to partner with them again. They are beginning new work on new land and we will get to support this new venture in Uganda. Learn more about this ministry at legaciesandmiracles.org.

Are there extended opportunities after Camp 323 for my child to connect with their new friends?

Absolutely! We want your child to be able to connect with their new friends! Come back on the Friday night of camp for an epic show from the Stunt Dudes. They will perform their high flying tricks with BMX bikes and skateboards. There will also be food trucks and time to just hang out. More details will be available at camp.

In addition, there are more events during the summer for kids to hangout. We will have Kid Konnect: Water Edition, Nerf War, and our annual battle: Girls Vs. Boys. You are also invited to connect with Eagles Landing First Baptist and Eagles Landing Kids on any Sunday. Check out eagleslanding.org/kids for more information.
