Day 19 | Peace Through Anything
Reading: Romans 8:31-39
The love of God.
What an overwhelming thought. To be loved so intently by the King of all Kings. If we are honest with ourselves, we will often try and define God’s love through the lens of our own broken experiences and understanding. When we face difficulty, failure, and loss is when we often feel the most distant from God’s love.
But Jesus died to reunite us with the Father’s love, not cast us away! Jesus died to show us a new way of love, a new way of hope, a new way of peace. We have a Redeemer so faithful and loving that, for those who are in Christ, nothing can separate us!
O, the peace and joy it brings when we gaze into the fullness of God’s love for us.
O, the relief from fear, anxiety, and worry.
O, the healing of the broken heart it brings to understand and allow yourself to experience the love of God!
Christ has conquered all things so that we may walk in the victory of his love! If Christ is now our life, then we no longer define our own worth, identity, purpose, or plan. God’s love and peace rules and reigns in our hearts and lives. And He shall reign forever and ever. Amen.
Question: Is there a lie rooted in fear that you have chosen to believe instead of finding peace and security in Christ?
