During the summer of 2004,
Eagle’s Landing sent a student ministry team to Honduras to work in the city of Tegucigalpa. Since then, numerous teams have traveled there to serve and learn what it means to make disciples that impact the world.
In 2010, a new chapter was opened in Honduras as Eagle’s Landing was challenged to “embrace the ends of the earth” by the International Mission Board and exposed to a unreached people group that lives in the central part of the country in a mountainous region called la Montaña de la Flor (Flower Mountain: The Tolupan. The goal is simple: plant Tolupan churches that will plant other Tolupan churches so the entire people group can move from the status of “unreached” to “reached”…all for God’s glory!
Through the Frontier Awaits!, we have joined with some other churches and Frontline Missions to serve the Tolupan together!
